Jeb Bush Orchestra Unveils New Disco Album Called “It’s All Disco?”
Instrumental funk group Jeb Bush Orchestra, not affiliated with Jeb Bush the United States politician, recently released their newest album in April of 2021 called It’s All Disco? This is the group’s third studio album since their 2017 debut single. As evidenced by their album cover, pictured above, album name, and the name of their band name, this group clearly has a good sense of humor and are interested in bringing joy and laughter to their listeners. The band also wants to make it very clear that they are an apolitical group and do not want people to make assumptions about them from their band name.
As I mentioned earlier, Jeb Bush Orchestra is a largely instrumental group and their latest album stays true to that style, with the exception of there being a riff sung during the song “All the Way to the Top.” Also staying true to the album’s name and the band’s style, the entire album is made up of disco songs with song titles that emphasize their desire to have a good time and for their listeners to have a good time too. To emphasize this point, some of the song titles on this album are “Get Down,” “We Have All Night (To Get Down),” and “It Is Imperative That You Get Down.”
This album differs from some of the band’s earlier works in the instrumentation used. In some of the group’s earlier albums and songs, there was a horn section but in almost every song on It’s All Disco, if not every song, there is a string section and no horns. This helps to create the funky disco sound that the band was trying to achieve with the help of its groovy drums, percussion, bass, guitar, and keys.
Be sure to give Jeb Bush Orchestra’s newest album a listen and check them out on social media to keep the good times rolling!
