The Royal Belgian Conspiracy: Moozy takes his place amongst Royalty

Hailing from Melbourne/Canberra, The Royal Belgian Conspiracy present their new single, “The Programming Is Wrong“, being the third single from their upcoming debut album “Ghosts & Whispers”. Being yet another indie folk-pop gem that blends lead singer Moozy`s questioning lyrics with dark textures, strings, percussive twists and haunting harmonies. With verses that take you on beautiful unexpected rides with each verse heard. “The Programming Is Wrong” is well poised to build upon the success of The Royal Belgian Conspiracy`s first two singles and the incoming debut album “Ghosts & Whispers”.
A blend of Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver, The Milk Carton Kids and Gregory Alan Isakov. Moozy’s voice has a vulnerability that draws the listener in. Exploring the notion of waking up one day and realising that you are in a very different place to where you thought you would ever be, something akin to waking up inside your dream and being stuck there exploring everything it had to offer. A reflection on the reality that our lives never really turn out how we may have dreamt when we were younger and in some unexpected and twisted ways it’s usually for the better.

inside your dreams and being stuck there”.
Moozy
No stranger to the industry, his father was a “one-hit” wonder with Belgium single “Savez-Vous Danser Sans Souliers”, never to release another track. Moozy`s interest began like most artists, watching his father dance around and play the guitar while growing up sparked an interest in music for him. Cutting his teeth busking in the London Underground, often playing Oasis`s Wonderwall on repeat when drunk. Performing in front of so many people so early on shook the nerves out of him. With roots in Belgium, the singer now lives in Australia after migrating with his family at a young age.
