Septembersong: Where Nature Meets Music for a Weekend of Connection and Creativity

The Wood family is bringing together nature and music in a whole new way with the launch of their latest creation, Septembersong. After the success of their award-winning Wood Festival, they’re ready to bring the community together once again with a focus on sustainability.

The festival, taking place from 6-8th September at Braziers Park in Oxfordshire, is set to be a magical experience filled with music, creativity, and connection. As always, the Wood team has curated an incredible lineup of talented musicians for Septembersong. Get ready to be blown away by the soulful sounds of Danny and the Champions of the World, winners of multiple UK Americana Awards. And don’t miss Lunatraktors, the MOJO Magazine Top Ten Folk Album creators, who will share their unique blend of traditional Anglo-Celtic music with a modern twist. Dan Whitehouse, who has a gift for touching listeners with his words and melodies, will be gracing the stage. He will also lead a songwriting workshop, ‘Song Fishing’, in partnership with Company of Song, where participants can tap into their inner creativity and have fun with the writing process.

Pete Astor, known for his work with 80s legends The Loft and The Weather Prophets, will also be performing. Don’t miss your chance to see this musical genius take the stage.

Husband and wife duo Trevor Moss and Hannah-Lou are also on the lineup, bringing their unique blend of folk and Americana to the mix. And last but not least, Hannah White, another UK Americana Award winner, will have you singing and dancing along with her soulful and heartfelt songs.

But Septembersong is more than just a music festival. It’s about reconnecting with nature, participating in community workshops, and enjoying local food and drink. The Old Ways Makerspace will showcase traditional methods of making, doing, and being that work in harmony with nature and each other. And this year, there’s even a Junior Makerspace for the little ones. Braziers Park, located in the beautiful Chiltern Hills, is the perfect setting for this unique event. So, join the Wood family for a weekend of music, creativity, and connection at Septembersong. Early bird tickets are on sale now for just £109, and if you can’t get enough, buy a ‘Winter Bookender’ ticket for access to both Septembersong and next year’s Wood Festival. Don’t miss out on the chance to be a part of this unforgettable experience.
