New UK Country Voice Devan Launches Debut Single “Wyatt Earp”

“Wyatt Earp” is the debut single from Devan, a rising UK country and Americana artist from March in Cambridgeshire, and it arrives on Friday 3rd April 2026. The release introduces a singer-songwriter whose work draws on heritage, lived experience and a strong sense of place. As first statements go, it is a significant one, not least because it marks his first-ever move into writing and recording his own material.

Devan has said that although he has always loved music, this is the first time he has truly stepped into it as his own. That makes “Wyatt Earp” a landmark release in personal as well as professional terms. Proudly identifying as a “Fen boy,” he brings a perspective shaped by his upbringing in a close-knit family and by the values that continue to define him.

Support for the song has already started to build through radio, including a feature on CountryLine Homegrown with Tim Prottey-Jones. For a debut artist, that kind of exposure offers an early boost and places Devan in front of listeners who follow the UK country scene closely. He has described the moment of hearing the song played on air with his family nearby as a full circle moment.

Alongside his music, Devan works as a carpenter with Sovereign Quarter Horses in Cambridgeshire and remains involved with their Rockin’ the Country festival, where he plans to host his EP launch later this year. His upcoming material, including “Better Man,” is influenced by the loss of his grandfather, who was an important figure in his life. As he begins to build his catalogue, Devan is emerging as an artist focused on truth, family and the stories that matter most to him.
