Victoria Hoffmann releases her latest single ‘Hopeless Love’

‘Hopeless Love’ is the new single by Victoria Hoffman ahead of her proposed album release later this year in the summer.

A nod to the likes of KT Tunstall and Amy McDonald, ‘Hopeless Love’ is an indie-folk style track with a ‘what could have been’ lost romance as lyrical accompaniment.

“This is a song about a boy who sees a girl on a bus and they have an instant connection. They both were in a relationship already, which makes things even more dramatic. They were seeing each other secretly, hoping they won’t get caught – unfortunately, it didn’t last long, the girl had to move away, and a few years later, she is married with kids and she is thinking of what it could have been, hitting that she would like to meet the guy again.”

Exploring a wide variety of genres, Victoria’s previous singles feature Alternative Rock, Dance and EDM sounds. This is something Victoria has previously been criticised for online, but instead of hindering, this simply fueled her passion to ignore the hate and create the music she wanted to.

Now based in Nottingham, Victoria grew up in Greece with her family who are all based in medicine. Despite this, Victoria knew from a young age that she was determined to become a singer songwriter, and ‘Hopeless Love’ marks the next step in her journey.
