‘Party In The F.A.X’ Miley Cyrus on how she communicates with Dolly Parton through her FAX Machine

Miley shares with the world her old-school method of keeping in touch with fellow star and her godmother Dolly Parton. When appearing on the Late Night show with Seth Myers, Cyrus mentioned the irony of communication with Dolly as she is very rarely ever on a phone.

Miley humorously spoke through the process as although Dolly does have a phone that she uses, she seems to always vert back to her fax machine as her main means to converse. She shared that commonly someone will scan Dolly’s message to Miley from her phone to her fax machine, put it back into a text message format, and then send over to Miley with a Dolly Parton signature every time.

Cyrus shares another ironic moment as Ms. Parton has previously claimed to be quite tech-savvy, although still used cassette tapes to record herself, which was then voice memo’d onto a flip phone, and then was finally transferred over to a iPhone before even getting to Miley!

Though a woman of many talents, it’s refreshing to hear that Dolly has kept to her favourite traditions throughout this fast-paced modern era. Keep on faxin’ 9 to 5 Dolly!
